Do I need to book the boat in advance?
Rafting must be booked at least 1 day in advance using our online booking form or by text message to phone +421 907 326 242 (available via iMessage, Viber, WhatsApp).
Where should I come?
You can pick up your booked boats in Bešeňová (near Bistro Pohoda) or at the boat rental (lodenica) in Ružomberok.
What should and can I bring with me?
Please bring:
- Sportswear appropriate for the weather
- Water-friendly footwear (sandals, flip-flops)
- Drinking water
- Snacks/refreshments for longer trips
Tip: Feel free to bring your camera, phone, car keys, or documents – we will provide you with a 10L waterproof dry bag.
Is the rafting suitable for small children?
Yes, rafting on the Váh river is relaxing and suitable for children from 3 years old. For younger children, we recommend choosing a shorter route.
How do we get back?
It depends on your starting point and destination. The Váh river flows alongside the railway line, so you can easily travel by train. The ideal train stations are Ružomberok, Švošov, and Kraľovany.
The rented boat can be deflated and packed up. Alternatively, you can book a boat transport service for a fee (Hubová €15, Kraľovany €20). When collecting the boat, we can always drive at least one person (the driver) back to Ružomberok with us.
What happens in case of bad weather?
If the weather forecast is unfavorable, we will contact you at least one hour before the scheduled start to discuss further options and arrangements.
